The CCI Institute is part of RheinMain University and works with students to review companies’ sustainability reports. As part of a course, fellow students and I were asked to update the institute’s corporate design and website.
The existing design didn’t really connect with the target audience, and the website felt cluttered and outdated. So, we started by doing a competitor and audience analysis to better understand what needed to change. From there, we developed a new color palette, typography, imagery, visual elements and updated the logo.
Alongside the redesign, we planned a clearer structure for the website to make the content more understandable and the experience more user-friendly. The wireframes then evolved into fully designed pages, which we presented to the institute. They liked the concept so much that they asked us to continue working on it. Unfortunately, it wasn’t possible to implement it yet. But it was still an important experience for me to build a pitch presentation and present it together with my fellow students in front of the client.
