Recoral Campaign

This year, two fellow students and I teamed up to take part in the D&AD Awards. We had a range of briefs to choose from and ended up picking Monotype. The task was to design a typeface that responds to current global conflicts and can be used in a campaign.

We decided to highlight the issue of coral bleaching. So, we created a typeface that visually fades as temperatures rise, just like corals does when the ocean gets warmer. We brought this idea to life through interactive posters, on Monotype’s website, and across social media.

It was a great experience working as a team and combining everyone’s input. I especially loved our brainstorming sessions and finally putting all the ideas and elements together in one video.
